This Black History Month, Oxford County is highlighting community, culture, and resilience.
Oxford County is hosting a Pan-African flag raising at the Woodstock Administration Building on February 10 at 10:00 a.m. Flags will also be raised Norwich and Tillsonburg. There are a series of cultural events throughout February so check out their information!
The Oxford County Library are also sharing Black history highlights and learning opportunities, as well as curated collections of books that honour and highlight Black voices.
Historic Otterville/Mill and Station Museum will be hosting Black History Tours on Wednesday February 18 from 10:00am to 11:30am, every half hour. These tours are offered by donation.
