Last Friday night, Handbags for Hospice Oxford made a groovy return to the Oxford Auditorium to raise funds for Sakura House!

A huge thank you to everyone who made this night possible! Over 100 volunteers, sponsors, prize donors plus all the generous attendees made this a night to remember!

Because you can’t pour from an empty cup—come refill yours.

VON Oxford will be running its first Caregiver Café.
This is a place to talk openly—or simply listen—about death, dying, caregiving, and the thoughts or feelings that come with walking alongside serious illness.

Conversations are informal, respectful, and guided by what matters most to those who attend. Light refreshments are offered. There is no fee to attend.

Our Sakura House wreath ladies have been creating again. We now have winter wreaths for each of the patient room doors. Each one is unique and brightens a winter's day.

Seasonal decorating adds a level of comfort for our families, staff, volunteers, and outside guests. Our volunteers try to enhance everyone's experience in everything they do!


Thank you volunteers! Thank you to our Memory Bears program for funding the creations!. We are so happy to always have the bear ladies' help.
