🍃You are cordially invited to Light, Love, and Healing volume IV: Spring Awakening🍃

What you can expect: a safe place to connect and share with other women. There will be tea, meditation, journaling, reiki, and oracle card pulling.

Spring is a magical time to expand, flourish, and grow. It's all about metamorphosis and transformation - the becoming after the initial unraveling. It's a time of composure and resilience; a powerful calm that marks the start of new beginnings. Thematically and metaphorically, I find it the most enchanting and decadent time of the year. With this in mind, we will be exploring the depths of going within and discovering what has shaped and moved us, what has always been ours - but what we may, just now, be ready to claim.

This spring instalment will take place Wednesday, March 25th at 6:30pm at Faithful Beauty. Message me to reserve your spot and I will post when it's full 💛🍋⭐️ sooo looking forward to delving into this one.

🍂You are cordially invited to Light, Love, and Healing Volume V - autumn edition: Autumnal Revelations🍂

The fifth instalment of LL&H will occur on Friday, October 17th at 7:30pm in my backyard! This edition will include a fire burning release and guided meditation under the stars. Autumn is a favoured season by many due to its ability to harness outdated beliefs and systems of thought and relinquish them with seemingly little effort. It is therefore the perfect opportunity to let go of what we wish to and embrace the aspects of ourselves we've been hoping to channel!

To connect at this time with a supportive group of women is what many of us need and crave. The comfort this space creates is like no other and I am once again so honoured to host it! You can expect a sacred space with no judgment, expressions of truth, and a place to connect with like-minded people.

Lots of love for you 🫶🏼🤍✨ as I navigate through big life changes, I've come to the realization that I need time off to better serve you in the near future. For a long time I've been operating from a nearly empty reserve, and like I always say to you, you need to take care of yourself first. It isn't easy choosing yourself, and I already feel guilty for announcing that I'll be taking some time off. But I also know that I have to do this in order to ensure that when I do come back, I'll be able to give you my best.

All current appointments will be honoured, and I also will have some limited availability for August. Please message me if you'd like to see me before I take time off 🤍

My return date is currently undecided, but I think it'll fall sometime in mid-September. I'm excited to take some time off to come back to Light & Lau with a fresh perspective, and hopefully a few new things ironed out. If you have any questions, please message me!

What you say to yourself amidst hardship has a profound impact on the relationship you have and curate with yourself and how you navigate through it.

I was thinking of these this morning as I experienced my own flare, and my internal monologue was acutely impacted by feelings of shame and embarrassment. Those feelings, although valid, contribute to a larger harmful narrative that I don't wish to believe about myself.

I know that I'm strong and capable, even when I'm struggling, and even when I feel weak and vulnerable. I'm as strong as I allow and believe myself to be.

I hope these help you reframe your own thoughts during a flare or harder moment 🤍

Did you know I offer distance Reiki healing sessions? I recently reduced the price to be more affordable and accessible.

Distance Reiki is a great option for those who live a bit further away, or are curious about trying Reiki without the in-person commitment.

I offer it via FaceTime, zoom, or other video call options. I do the energy work first, and then I'll follow up with a call to go over what I picked up on, and give you the opportunity to ask me any questions you may have.

Did you know that I have a diploma in Applied Psychology with a specialization in Professional Counselling? 🎓 I was awarded this honour in October of 2021 after completing a rigorous fast paced postgraduate program through Kelowna College of Professional Counselling.

I completed this course just before opening my business, even though I had acquired my Reiki Masters training by that time. (And I did pretty well too, just look at those grades 😉). I knew that I would be dealing with sensitive topics, traumas, and emotional discussions in our sessions, and I wanted to put my best foot forward for my clients so they could trust me completely.

It often goes without saying, but I want to emphasize that anything discussed in our sessions is completely confidential and will always be met with zero judgement and a place of deep empathy and understanding. I will always do my utmost best to ensure you feel safe and understood 🤍
