A new year is almost here, and I know a lot of us are feeling that urge for change… or at least for things to feel lighter.
During my own search for peace, I came across a simple idea that really stuck with me: Let them.
If someone wants to ignore you, let them.
If someone wants to leave, let them.
If someone doesn’t see your value, let them.
This mindset helped me realize that some people and situations have to go so I can spend my energy on the ones that are still part of my growth.
A long time ago, a friend told me that some people come into our lives just long enough to teach us something—and then they leave. I didn’t like that idea back then. Letting go was hard.
But I’ve learned that this is part of life… and honestly, it saves us from a lot of disappointment.
So as the new year approaches, here’s what I’m choosing to let go of:
• The need to change anyone’s mind
• Overworking to prove my worth
• Thinking I have to do everything alone
If you’re feeling tired or stuck right now, maybe it’s not because you’re doing something wrong.
Maybe it’s because you’re holding onto something you don’t need anymore.
So ask yourself:
What are you ready to let go of so you can walk into 2026 feeling lighter?
You don’t need all the answers today.
