Kind interactions trigger the release of oxytocin and serotonin—often called “feel-good” hormones—that promote feelings of safety and belonging, leading to improved mental health outcomes such as reduced anxiety and depression symptoms.  

Over time, these relationships foster resilience, enhance emotional regulation, and even contribute to longer lifespans, as studies on strong social networks consistently link them to greater longevity and overall vitality. Your body is always working for you.
World Health Day is a reminder to return the favour.

It’s in the small choices.
The moments of rest.
The times we actually listen to what our body is trying to tell us.

Health isn’t just physical. It’s how we sleep, how we cope with stress, how we feel emotionally, and how connected we are to ourselves.

That’s where holistic therapies like reflexology come in.

Reflexology works by supporting the body as a whole - not just focusing on one symptom, but encouraging balance across different systems. By applying pressure to specific reflex points on the feet, it may help calm the nervous system, reduce stress, support sleep, and create the conditions your body needs to function at its best.
