I assisted this amazing client in navigating their end of life planning process! Thank you for your kind words…such gratitude ✨

Client:
I felt so lost and didnt know where to begin when it came to looking at my own death. Working with Carrie has been an absolute blessing. I have been putting off getting my end of life plans in order because it felt like alot to look at and it comes with such big emotions. Carrie made it feel good for me. She held space for me to have an open dialogue about death. All too often these conversations are followed by awkward silence and avoidance. Talking with Carrie felt so easy. It was such an empowering experience to have someone really listen to all the thoughts that had been sitting quietly in my heart for so long.

She gently guided me to the proper channels to put my end of life plans in motion. I have such a weight lifted off my shoulders knowing my family won't have all this added worry when my time comes.

Carrie held my hand without judgement and showed me such compassion. She kept me accountable to myself, something I've truly appreciated.

She is organised and knowledgable in her field and I would recommend her to anyone who is looking to take a closer look at what death and dying will look like for them.

Thank you so much Carrie ❤️

Guiding clients through their end-of-life planning is empowering. Being proactive is a gift, for yourself and your loved ones. Given that mortality is an inherent aspect of life, the same level of planning should be considered as with any significant life event!

And I had the pleasure of doing this with my client over a delicious cup of coffee, all while supporting local business!

Good morning on this wet Wednesday! Day off for me today… And even though it is damp and cold, I’m going to make the most of it! I have a fire going and enjoying a nice cup of coffee in the quiet, focussing on gratitude ✨ looking at the bare trees, knowing that soon spring will bring beautiful buds!

Remember to live like you’re dying… Because you are! Embrace every moment and every day. The more we can embrace the inevitable, the more fully we will live today!

I know thinking about our own mortality can be a little scary, however, the more you can embrace, accept and prepare for it, the freer you can live every day ❤️✨🙌🏼.

This!!! When I took care of my end of life goals and plans, I felt empowered.

If a time comes that I cannot make care/medical decisions for myself, my loved ones won’t have to guess or make the hard decisions at a tender time ❤️

What is a Death Doula you ask? For centuries, just as Birth Doulas have assisted mothers to bring their babies into the world, a Death Doula provides a similar service as you transition out of this world. As natural as birth, dying should be prepared for and approached in a calm and natural manner.

I am a registered CCA, certified Death Doula who is trained in palliative care, and I practice the ancient energy healing modality of Reiki.

My goal is to help people navigate the many aspects of preparing for the end of life. I can offer you assistance as you establish your end of life wishes and directives, educate you on funeral/burial options, plan and conduct bedside vigils as you or your loved one nears the end of life, offer respite care and post death home organization.

Whether you want to get your affairs in order, have received a terminal diagnosis or are at the end of life, I would be honoured to guide you through…let me help you transition from this world beautifully, and on your terms!

Let’s connect and have a complimentary chat! In person, phone or Zoom! 🫶🏼✨
