My passion is helping people, impacting their lives positively and providing them time to focus on themselves. My first encounter with Reflexology was in Fredericton, NB. I suffered from back pain and severe migraines. After a short stay in hospital due to a debilitating migraine, I tried out this therapy. The first session was an introduction, a time to allow for the therapist to know me. It proved to help, even after the first 10 minutes. As the sessions continued over the next 6 weeks and then monthly, my energy increased, I stopped waking up every day with a headache, I slept better, I was able to focus, my gait improved and I had a positive outlook for my future without pain. I registered with Canadian Reflexology School in February 2019 for the Foot Course and graduated in June 2020. With that training I continued on with Hand Reflexology Course end of June 2020 and graduated 7 weeks later. Not everyone will experience the same, each person is different. Reflexology is a non invasive therapy that may provide the following benefits to you. Reflexology is known to:
1. Reduce inflammation
2. Improve circulation
3. Improve brain function
4. Reduce tension
5. Promotes relaxation
6. Reduces headaches/pain
Those are just a few main benefits. Reflexology is the study of reflexes, we have reflexes in the hands, feet, ears, face and scalp that correspond with every gland, organ and body part. When pressure is applied by using specific finger and thumb techniques, reflexology will help bring your body back to homeostasis (balance).
