Todays news re-iterates the importance of following the rules and guidelines here in the NWT. There are many people who say "why can't we just have our bubble and open everything without rules"--- this here is why. It is not mandatory for everyone in a household to self-isolate together if the one who travels is able to keep distance in the house. However, it is still possbile to transmit throughout the house-- could be an area that missed being wiped down, could be a quick passing in a hallway, could be poor air circulation. This is why when people tell me someone in their household has travelled, I re-schedule their appointment. Not because I think they 100% have COVID, but because the potential is there. Please be diligent if you do travel, or someone in your household does. Please limit your exposure to mandatory places as much as possible, please re-schedule your appointments, and please wear your mask in public! (Ps I wear one all day everyday, its really not that bad!) If you cancel for this reason, I will try my best to re-book you as soon as the 14 days are up! We are all in this together YK, lets stay strong and continue following the guidelines to ensure us small businesses stay open!
