In terms of acne, prescribed antibiotics will temporarily clear the skin. The downside is it typically will always return.

June is acne awareness month ✨️

This month is all about education, understanding, and breaking the stigma that acne is a "flaw." Truth is, acne is usually your body trying to tell you something — whether it's hormones, diet, stress, medication, or something else entirely.

It’s complex, deeply misunderstood, and affects more people than you’d think.

I’ve been there — I got my first breakout at eleven, and it pretty much never let up. Having what’s considered grade 3 acne while working in the beauty industry was honestly soul crushing. I remember avoiding cameras, mirrors, anything that reminded me of my skin. It wasn't until just a few years ago that I finally found what worked for me. The photo I shared is one of the only ones I have from that time because I refused to be photographed.

If you’re struggling right now, I see you. You’re not dirty, not gross, and definitely not alone. Most importantly, acne doesn't define your worth or your beauty.
