A big thank you to Thom for providing such an in-depth history and background of the site. We also want to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Larry, Juanita, and Marylin for helping make this afternoon so memorable. What a fantastic experience!

Today we had the privilege to sponsor a hotdog BBQ with sides and Ice Cream sandwiches to finish for YAIL Harbor Inc. - Day Program! Troy MacNaughton joined us to provide some fun entertainment for our participants!!!

The Bentley Yorkton practiced our full evacuation with the Yorkton Fire Protective Services support! All of our residents with the exception of a few made it out to our muster point and then enjoyed some roasted marshmallows!

On August 9th, The Bentley hosted a raffle and dinner, raising $300 in support of The Health Foundation. The event was inspired by our resident Joan, who kicked off the fundraiser by making a beautiful quilt for the raffle. Pictured here with Ross Fisher, Joan's generosity helped bring our community together for a meaningful cause. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed!

Residents at Venvi Churchill Place in Oakville were treated to a tasty presentation from a local student entrepreneur. Charlotte, a 15-year-old with a passion for baking, started her business, Grain & Loaf Co, to showcase that healthy can also mean delicious. Specializing in whole grain, good for you baked items, Charlotte is dedicated to bringing fresh, locally sourced, and handcrafted goods to customers.

Joined by her mother and grandmother, Charlotte brought her baked scones, muffins, and challah bread to share with residents, who were inspired by her energy and passion. She shared her story, recounting how she had taught herself to bake through trial and error, experimenting with healthier ingredients to make her treats more nutritious without sacrificing taste.

By the end of the presentation, Charlotte not only shared her delicious baked goods but also forged connections bridging generations through the joy of baking.

The Bentley Regina recently celebrated their grand re-opening after months of renovations. Residents were joined by Regina’s Mayor, Chad Bachynski, and other members of the community who were able to enjoy the inviting new spaces. The residence features an ode to The Capitol Theatre and an all-new pub called The Honking Goose Tavern. Guests had the opportunity to sample the Pension Plan Pilsner, a collaboration with The Bentley Regina and Pile O Bones Brewery located in Regina - a true Saskatchewan beer. Retirement living is about community and connection. A new resident at Venvi Windsor Park retirement residence felt overwhelmed on her first day, until a group of compassionate residents embraced her warmly. Over lunch, they shared stories and realized they all hailed from the same Italian town. What began as a simple gesture blossomed into an hour of laughter, camaraderie, and encouragement.
