Two Saturdays ago, we held a free Mother & Child Outreach at Olowogbowo/Elegbeta area in Lagos Island, bringing essential care and education directly to the community.

From health talks to free check-ups, it was a day of listening, learning, and supporting women who are often left out of the healthcare conversation.

Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and made this possible.

Good vision is easy to take for granted… until it starts to fade.

But the truth is, many eye problems can be prevented or managed if caught early.

Here’s how to care for your eyes daily:
👁️ Avoid rubbing them with dirty hands
👁️ Don’t ignore blurry vision or persistent headaches
👁️ Take screen breaks if you’re on a phone or computer for long
👁️ Go for regular eye checkups, even if nothing seems wrong

Your sight is precious. Don’t wait for problems to show up before you pay attention.

Vitiligo is more than a skin condition, it’s a journey of confidence, identity, and acceptance.

Too often, those living with vitiligo face stigma, misunderstanding, and isolation.

That’s why today, we speak up, not just to raise awareness, but to also show support.

Let’s create a world where every skin tone, every patch, and every person feels safe, seen, and celebrated.

Sickle Cell Disorder is not just a health condition—it's a lifelong journey marked by pain, strength, and resilience.

It affects millions, especially in Africa, yet many people still don’t understand what it means to live with it.

At Amal Outreach, we believe awareness is care, and that no one should walk this journey alone.

To every warrior fighting sickle cell, we see you. Together, we can break the silence and build a stronger support system.

Personal hygiene may seem simple, but it plays a huge role in preventing illness and staying healthy, especially in communities where access to healthcare is limited.

🧼 Washing your hands can prevent the spread of infections.
🪥 Brushing your teeth daily protects more than just your smile.
🩸 Keeping your body and clothes clean reduces risk of skin infections.
🚽 Proper toilet hygiene prevents diseases like cholera and typhoid.

These habits aren’t just about being clean, they’re about staying safe, feeling confident, and protecting those around you.

Too often, we only pay attention to our health when something goes wrong. But by then, it might already be serious.

This is to remind you of the value of staying healthy.

Eat well, rest well, go for checkups, and pay attention to your body. Your health is your greatest asset.
