Ce photographe avec sa femme, ont planté des milliers d'arbres pendant plus de 20 ans, jusqu'à ce que leur maison au Brésil 🇧🇷 soit de nouveau entourée d'une belle forêt, après l'avoir perdue.
Quand ils ont atteint leur objectif, ils ont montré ces photos avant et après.

Reagan Ilunga, a Bellevue College accounting student, has been making waves in the world of finance. Recently, Ilunga had the privilege of joining Howard University's one-week-long residential program, the Accounting Scholars Development Program (ASDP) in Washington DC.

“It was like a dream come true for me when I was given the opportunity to participate in the ASDP,” said Ilunga. “It was an experience that truly left a lasting impression on me.”

The ASDP at Howard University provided Ilunga with an opportunity to network with professionals from esteemed businesses like Deloitte, PwC, Cohn Reznick, BDO, KPMG, and CLA. This exposure opened doors to a broad range of accounting-related career paths and opportunities, setting Ilunga on a path of continuous learning and growth within the accounting industry.

"I am immensely grateful for the experience I had at Howard University's Accounting Scholars Development Program. It was a week that changed my perspective on the accounting profession and strengthened my determination to pursue a bachelor's degree in accounting. My long-term objective is to become a certified public accountant so that I can make an impact on the world at large," Ilunga said.

Ilunga, originally from Lubumbashi in the Democratic Republic of Congo, attributes much of his success in the program to the support and direction received from his BC accounting professor Judith Paquette. According to Ilunga, Paquette inspired him to overcome challenges and strive toward more ambitious objectives.

With an annual average enrollment of close to 20,000 students, BC is one of the largest educational institutions in the State of Washington. It offers several different accounting degrees and certifications under the auspices of its nationally recognized School of Business and Technology.
