Job title: Logistics specialist
Location: Erbil

Job description: The Logistics Specialist is responsible for receiving, arranging organizing, inspecting, and distributing cars to the different governorates withing Kurdistan Region.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS DESCRIPTION

The Logistics Specialist will do the following:

1. Receiving vehicles from transporters once arrived in the warehouse.
2. Inspecting the vehicles for damage and reporting the damage on the appropriate documents.
3. Keeping stock status up to date.
4. Sending regular updates on the stock status to the concerned departments.
5. Organizing the warehouse and ensuring that all the vehicles contain enough fuel.
6. Preparing regular reports on the stock status.
7. Ensuring that accurate units are sent to the branches based on their request.
8. Ensuring proper filling of all the necessary documents.
9. Ensuring that the vehicle number plates are accurate and all are fixed on the vehicles.
10. Keeping their superior up to date regarding any damage to the vehicles and/or missing documents when receiving the vehicles.
11. Any other task assigned by line manager.

REQUIRED PROFILE

Education:
Bachelor or diploma degree in any related field.

Languages
Kurdish, Arabic & Good English

Experience
At least 3 years of practical experience working in logistics department

Job Vacancy: Finance Officer

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE (BRIEF):

Based in the Finance Department of Action for Humanity Iraq country office under the direction of the Finance coordinator, the Finance Officer will ensure the accuracy and completeness of Action for Humanity accounting records and will have primary responsibility for managing the monthly accounting cycle.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review payment requests to ensure that all supporting documentation and approvals are included and complete per Action for Humanity finance policy.
Record accounting transactions and ensure proper coding according to location i.e., field or country offices.
Follow up with payment requesters for additional information or documentation as needed.
Review staff expense reports and supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness as required by Action for Humanity finance policy.
Prepare bank account reconciliations and follow up to ensure vendors’ payments are transferred.
Prepare project accounts receivable and accounts payable reconciliations, highlighting any aged transactions over the specified limited number of days.
Follow up on outstanding advances on a monthly basis.
Assist with processing payroll and producing/submitting salary pay slips.
Liaise with local income tax authority and local social security office.
Prepare Hawala payments and follow up with Hawala to make sure Hawala delivered the fund to the beneficiary.
Assist with financial and accounting analysis as needed.
Assist with training office staff on project accounting procedures.
Help file and maintain accounting vouchers in relevant archives.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Strong team spirit
MS Office Skills
Fluency in English, Arabic, and Kurdish
2 to 3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, including experience with double entry accounting.
Familiarity with computerized, double-entry accounting software
Strong organizational skills as well as attention to detail
Experience in supervising staff
Ability to work under pressure.

Integrity
