Okay, so a lot of you have been sliding into my DMs asking about my current diet secrets, and I thought I'd let you in! Here’s the inside scoop on how I’m fueling myself these days:

🌅 Starting Fresh: First thing? Water and lime to hydrate and kickstart the day. Then chia seeds to keep me going strong before my protein drink.

🥑 Protein-Packed Power: I’m all about pea protein, fish, chicken, and eggs for lean, clean energy. These are my secret weapons for staying fueled all day!

🥗 Greens & Fats: No diet is complete without veggies, salads, and healthy fats—hello, avocado! This combo keeps my mind sharp and my cravings in check.

Different forms of Yoga have different positive impact on you physically, mentally and emotionally. Yoga works to ground us in the present so we can appreciate this moment fully. ⁣⁣⁣

The PH of our body needs to be around 7 (fairly neutral) for our blood to work properly. Many of the foods we eat cause our body to become acidic & we experience low energy, digestive issues, brittle bones and hair, poor immune system. Fix the image in your mind and just concentrate on it, allow other thoughts to come and go but always return to that single image. Use this time to allow yourself to feel grateful for the many blessings in your life.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

One of the most important things we can do to look after ourselves is learn to say ‘no’ sometimes. We don’t have to say it angrily but sometimes we do have to say it. A great tool can be to use ‘let me check my schedule and get back to you on that’.⁣⁣⁣

There are three major causes of Inflammation of the gut that will lead to poor gut health and consequently can have a major impact on your mental wellbeing...⁣

⁣❗️ Sugar is top of the list. It spikes insulin & triggers the release of inflammatory cytokines. It is also highly addictive, a source of empty calories and refined white sugar & simple carbs (which convert in your body almost immediately to sugar – fructose & sucrose) have almost no nutritive value. ⁣

❗️ Chemicals from processed foods, gluten grains, genetically modified foods, pesticides, hormonally modulating plastics and cosmetic additives all stimulate our immune systems to various extents , as well as promoting intestinal permeability – changes in our intestinal flora that facilitate growth of pathogenic bacteria, yeast & fungus which keep our immune systems in a state of alarm. ⁣
