Feeling overwhelmed this summer?
Mindfulness could be the gentle reset you need 💫
Mindfulness is about living in the present moment without judgement and truly appreciating the simple things in life. It helps calm the mind, ease anxiety, improve sleep, and bring kindness and awareness into how we experience each day.
Here’s how to invite more mindfulness into your day:
🌿 Pay attention - Focus on your senses. Notice the texture, taste and smell of your food. Feel the breeze on your skin. Listen to the sounds around you
🌿 Take notice - When your mind drifts, gently acknowledge your thoughts. “This is a feeling of stress” or “Here’s the thought that I’m falling behind”
🌿 Be aware and accepting - Notice what you're feeling in your body and emotions, and accept it with curiosity, not judgement
🌿 Return to the present - Use your breath or body sensations to anchor you. Look around and name what you see, hear, smell or feel
🌿 Be kind to yourself - It’s natural for your mind to wander. Gently bring yourself back with compassion
Mindfulness isn’t about perfection. It’s about presence
