New modesty screens!

A lot of the ladies who train with Fran are very new to the gym, or have expressed a wish for extra privacy whilst they are training.

Although we are already a private gym and not open to the public, we’ve now added modesty screens that can be moved around the gym wherever Fran is coaching. This added level of privacy is designed to help the ladies training with Fran feel comfortable and to ensure they get the most out of their training.

It’s all in the details.

Small group sessions still going strong at the Angry Vegan gym (HD1 2NX), tonight it’s Love Island Lifting Club. A heavy circuit using our powerlifting, kettlebells and strongman kit.

The Kettlebell Sport (Girevoy Sport) rack position, Phil at 110kg in 2026, me at 78kg in 2012.

The position is called the rack, it’s the rest point between lifts in kettlebell sport. It takes a long time to be able to relax in that position with 40 or 48kg on your chest!
