Too all my sweets that have sent me love, good vibes, cards, food, and presents. Thank you so much! Your deep caring has helped me so much in the first week of my healing!
My surgeon, PT assist, and hospital staff are super heros and magicians. So much empathy and caring was definitely needed.

This position of laying with cat on lap, walker at side, and meds within reach has been my week. Not so bad, lots of time to deep think and realize who and what things are important in this time space reality. I realize:

There will always be people who are kind when they don't have to be. 💓 you all.
Others that are unkind, in all situations, are still ppl, going through their own stuff, but they should not be allowed to disrupt your peace.
Having great expectations of ppl sometimes leads to gut-wrenching disappointment. However, remembering self and how we are our own caretakers, able to build ourselves up with our thoughts, is a great tool to get out of the funk. The universe guides, and we just need to create the space to let it in.

I've been doing a lot of writing, which may lead to something interesting, a little more creating, and a little dr. moderated shimmying. See you all on the other side of this!
