Yoga In Times Square. Here we go!!!

Let me introduce you all to our new friends: the infamous sheep!!!
Today was our first shift tending for them. They are sooooo sweet and friendly and they take you far far far away when you get to spend time with them: Bowie, Evening, Jupiter, Chad, and Philip-Aries.
They come from Friends of Tivoli Lake Preserve and Farm, Inc.
This is our job description (till September):
"Sheep Stewards:
Ensure the safety and comfort of the Island's sheep through attentive supervision
Guarantee sheep have adequate food and water
Rotate sheep safely between day grazing areas and night paddocks in Hammock Grove
Educate visitors about the importance of biodiversity and the Horticulture team's work to expand biodiversity on Governors Island
Remove invasive species through handpulling and pruning."
So, don't forget to pay them a visit.

It's happening again!! Yoga in Times Square, New York City, moved to June 20 (instead of 21st) this year.
And, as always, I'll be there, at the 5:30 - 6:30 class.
Can't wait! It is every year such an enlightening experience: being able through breathing and mindfulness to slowly but surely become more and more comfortable in Times Square, New York City chaos. It is not about ignoring it. It is about relaxing into it.
You should try it! (well, it's probably too late to sign up for this year though).
