Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Production Pharmacist (Pharm-D) to join our reputable pharmaceutical manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in sterile injectable production within a regulated pharmaceutical environment. This role involves overseeing and ensuring the smooth operation of production processes, maintaining compliance with GMP & cGMP standards, and contributing to the manufacture of high-quality medicinal products that meet national and international regulations. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the company’s mission to deliver safe and effective healthcare solutions to patients.
Purpose & Scope of the Role: The Production Pharmacist plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient manufacturing of pharmaceutical products, strictly adhering to GMP & cGMP standards and company SOPs. This position involves overseeing the entire production process—from raw material preparation to the delivery of the final product—while maintaining meticulous documentation and guaranteeing product quality and operational safety. By fulfilling these responsibilities, the Production Pharmacist contributes significantly to the company’s commitment to provide safe, effective, and high-quality medicines to patients.
Job Description:
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
• Batch Documentation & Reporting:
Complete and maintain all batch-related documents, including production sheets, requisition forms, and in-process record books.
• Raw Material Handling:
Verify the quantity, weight, and suitability of raw materials before use in production.
• Production Oversight & Compliance:
Monitor all manufacturing activities to ensure they align with SOPs, MFR, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Quality Coordination:
Communicate and coordinate with QA/QC departments for batch approvals and ensure proper labeling and traceability.
• Sanitation & Audit Support:
Ensure cleanliness of equipment and production areas, and assist during internal or external audits.
Job Requirements:
- A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in sterile injectable production in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
- Solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and pharmaceutical regulations.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team and under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to product quality and safety.
