Day 11
Millie is still in Intensive Care at The Royal London.

RSV is nasty and the last 3 days have been really hard.

She continues to be a superstar and has even learnt to pass her own catheter orally and trigger a cough. The physios have offered her a job.

We are hoping that she turns a corner soon.

Millie was taken into Southend Hospital unwell with RSV on Wednesday.

RSV is a nasty respiratory virus, meaning that Millie has required more support.

She was transferred to The Royal London hospital PICU early hours of this morning.

Millie is over the moon. She got star of the week at SouthSEND for showing her walking skills. One happy little girl ❤️ SouthSEND Rugby

A day we never could of imagined happening.
Millies first official school day at Kingsdown!

She absolutely loved it and we cannot wait to see her bloom and grow into an even more clever, funny and witty little girl.

Mummy was a absolutely mess watching her go into school. Daddy was beaming with pride 🥰

We finally have our new Spinal brace!

This brace is very different to her last 2. It has been fitted to really push her curve up and keep her in an extended position.

Millies speech is coming along in ways we never thought would be possible.

She struggles in rooms with lots of people and with people who don't know her, either being drowned out or not being understood.

Now Millie is learning to use her "big girl voice" the app is called TD Snap on her iPad and isn't to take away her voice but to be another tool to Millies armoury. 🗡🛡

She is better at using the app than Mummy and Daddy haha.

Go on girl!! 💪
