Yesterday I was asked how becoming a father has impacted me in a way that translates into business...

My daughter is my mirror.

My daughter has helped me become more aware of my emotions, trained me to manage those emotions... And most importantly, forced me to understand why I am having those emotions.

As a result, she has helped me heal.

I want to heal, so that she can have a clear path in front of her.

Chiropractic is a passion, my career and a calling.

To date, I've worked with hundreds of clinicians as an employer, employee, contractor or colleague.

There are 3 key things you need to MASTER to be successful in this profession:

1. Understanding people. Only when you understand them, will you be able to effectively communicate.

2. Understand how science works. When to trust the science and when to move right past it. How to build a rationale based hypothesis and test it, remaining objective.

3. Exceptional practical skills... including hands on, patient handling, rehab and training skills AND bedside manner (hospitality). You need an eye for movement, an understanding of the mechanics, neurology and biochemistry and how they are relevant to each person.

Most practitioners have one of those as a preference. Just be mindful that in order to become absolutely unstoppable - you need them all...

Hopefully this helps you gain an insight.

Ps. Don't be arrogant and say you are strong in all 3... If you kinda did, then my hint is that you lack an understanding of people 🧐
