I just finished creating a workshop for my team on what manual therapy actually does at a cellular level...

And this dawned on me...

I have been obsessing about healthcare for 20 years now...

I don't plan on retiring, all I plan on doing is CONSTANTLY UPSKILLING and building layers on what Ive learnt...

I am building 2 things...

Firstly - A multi-site clinic, that provides VALUES based healthcare to patients that need results, but more importantly, HONESTY.

Secondly - An education framework that teaches you things that you wish you could've learnt at uni...

I don't care how long it takes...

You can either jump on board, or you can get sick of hearing from me...

I didn't ask to be school captain.

It was placed upon me.

A classmate made a choice to self willingly leave this life.

I was the first student to be told in the principles office after being taken out of class.

Being taken out of class wasn't necessarily unusual for me as it usually meant "duty".

So to learn of this news, was unexpected...

I was then asked to hand select his closest friends, and be there to support them when they were told.

Then I addressed my year group when they got told.

May their soul be at peace...

I was never going to win the popularity award.

I was chosen because of my leadership.

I learnt that people don't hold back about who should've been the leader, what I should've done better, or whatever... Those remarks and opinions make no difference to me.

The popular ones are too afraid to not be liked.

And that's exactly why popularity is not leadership.

As I reflect, it was a lot as a 17 year old to carry that... And what's interesting, I never looked at it as a burden - but a duty.

A duty I fulfilled, in a way that no one else could - because they are not me.

So my lesson, is that leadership lesson from high school is about duty.

It's not about you.
It's about what is required of you.

It's the first time we've had saganaki since we were in Greece

This week has been jam packed...
Mainly with moving house.
, Sofia and me moved to a place that has what we need.

This week has been challenging with simply no space in it.

No space in my calendar
No space in our household
No space even in my car

Holding SPACE for patients in the clinic requires you to be neutral. What does that mean?
It means your presence cannot be pre-charged with emotion. It means, you allow a space for your patient to express.

Space has been the themed challenge this week for me. I will be clear my space and bring ease to my challenge by the end of today.
