Wipe that smirk off your face, Perth. The weather gods have decided you've had enough of a good time and are sending in a watery menace from the north. The "rainband with embedded thunderstorms" is less of a gentle shower and more of a grumpy, soggy blanket determined to give our glorious city a proper soaking.
Northern suburbs, you're the unfortunate taste testers for this meteorological mischief. So get ready for some "heavier falls" that are apparently just a warm-up act. And for the rest of the Lower West, including our beloved Perth, prepare for some "FLASH FLOODING." That's right, the kind of rain that turns your car into a submarine and your garden into a new, albeit temporary, swimming pool.
