⚠️Trigger warning ⚠️ -BIRTHING WHILE BLACK

MEDICAL RACISM AT DALLAS TX REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER!

A black mother CLEARLY in active labor being ignored by the triage nurse! “Baby in my ass” is a sign that mama is ready to push, but instead of rushing her to labor & delivery and getting her care, this nurse ignored this mother and continued asking her questions even though you can clearly tell SHE IS IN ACTIVE LABOR.

The anger I felt watching this video as a black woman and doula, and a major reason why I continue to preach BLACK WOMEN ARE NOT SAFE TO GIVE BIRTH IN HOSPITAL SETTINGS. This is a clear example of “birthing while black” medical & systematic racism.

Black women are 3 to 4 times more likely to DIE during childbirth because medical professionals such as this nurse in the video disregard us. They don’t believe we feel pain, an ideology that dates back to slavery. We are disregarded, overlooked, not heard and refused proper care and treatment from the facilities that are meant to provide care. Black woman are not safe to birth in hospitals. Black babies and nlack mothers are suffering from medical neglect because this system is not designed to nurture us.

If you must give birth in a hospital , go in there armed knowing your birthrights and make sure your birthing team is SOLID, invest in a doula. Seek out a vetted midwife, vet your ob/gyn! Know your birthing rights!

Or better yet… have your baby at home and keep your PLACENTA!

This wasn’t just a birth….this was a sacred ceremony captured of sitting with mom in between realms.

Buddha’ s birth was magical ✨

Unassisted. Unmedicated. REIKI INFUSED Intuitive VAGINAL BIRTH AFTER CESAREAN (VBAC) HOMEBIRTH. Because who said you couldn’t have your baby at home? This was full body trust of a powerful mother who trusted the divine wisdom of her body and RECLAIMED AUTONOMY over her body and birthing experience.

Birth is not just physical—it is deeply spiritual. It is a natural physiological process and when a woman surrenders to the process, allowing her body to guide her, miracles unfold.

They say doulas don’t catch babies—and while that is NOT the role of a doula, this baby and Spirit had other plans 😅 for mom, dad and me (the doula). 🔮A Prediction

I’ve been dreaming alot about babies, sensing baby spirits….. particularly babyGirls 💕💕

💙Baby boy spirits -feels like they are waiting for their chosen mothers to find their joy again and waiting for the right male counterpart (divine masculine) to arrive in their chosen mothers life before they come forward. -healing the masculine energy within the mother so she will make better choices & decisions when it comes to who she gives her heart and body too.

For someone… the next pregnancy is going to be twins or back to back. Two baby spirits (possibly siblings) have chosen to come back together or right after one another (or you may have a Gemini 😭 2 souls a child who is in this world but not of it… an old soul)

💕babygirls are coming to bring comfort and shed light. They will have whole lot of personalities (grandmother spirits returning) they are bringing an immense amount of love that heals generations and transcends through realms.

After some type of death … there is ALWAYS some type of birth.

The waters 🌊 are talking. I won’t be surprised if there is an influx of baby girls born or pregnancy announcements this summer -end of the year.

Preparing these divine doula hands 🤲🏾 to catch and help assist these new spirits coming forward that choose me as their doula to guide them into this realm. 😇

If interested please inbox me for the link 🤗. This subject as well as my own story of taking care of my grandmother before her transition to the ancestral realm.. hits home for me. I will share my story of what I experienced caring for her during her stages of transition during the Q& A if time permits.

As a caregiver that operates as a birth & death doula (full spectrum doula), sitting between the realms of life & death, I’m seeing how imperative it is to have these conversations within our black families because they are important and death is something many are afraid to even talk about, let alone prepare for. But what happens to the person who becomes the caregiver, expectedly or unexpectedly? The support it requires, what we mentally & emotionally battle caring for our loved ones whether they want it or not because NOBODY else was willing to step up to do it. Lack of resources, family, dialogue about next steps should your loved one make their transition. It’s not an easy task to ask of someone but someone has to do it and I truly believe only those who have a special calling are CHOSEN to do this work. It’s time we as black families have this dialogue.
