Introducing MyEcc Pupil Prop by Germany, an innovative eye-tracking control system for power wheelchairs.

Designed for individuals who can only move their eyes, MyEcc Pupil Prop uses a visor with an eye-tracking sensor and dedicated software to let users drive their wheelchair in the direction of their gaze — and stop simply by closing their eyes.

Compatible with Invacare power wheelchairs, this solution supports independent mobility both indoors and outdoors, even in direct sunlight thanks to integrated photochromic lenses. It also allows users to adjust seating positions and tilt functions, offering new possibilities for people living with conditions such as ALS.

Last December, our Invacare Danmark team took part in a dedicated training session together with external experts, focusing on Matrx backs — ergonomic, flexible, and lightweight back systems designed to deliver stable support, high comfort, and enable an active life in a wheelchair.

As we enjoy the holiday season, we wanted to celebrate the success of one of the global partnerships we have with a not-for-profit humanitarian organisation, Free Wheelchair Mission. 💙✨

For over six years, Invacare has partnered with Free-Wheelchair-Mission to support their mission of gifting wheelchairs to people in remote and under-resourced countries with little or no access to mobility equipment and healthcare.

Invacare helped design, develop and test the new GEN 4 JOY wheelchair specifically for Free Wheelchair Mission.

A heartfelt thank you to the teams who contributed to the project and to everyone who participated in the “Move for Mobility” fundraiser in May. Invacare has now raised close to $50k for the organisation in just the last two years.

Everyone’s efforts are helping to distribute free wheelchairs and transform lives around the world.

This December, our Invacare UK team were delighted to attend the Superhero Series Winter Wonderwheels powered by Marvel on Sunday 7 December.

Despite challenging weather conditions, participants demonstrated exceptional resilience and enthusiasm as they made their way around Dorney Lake, Windsor. 🇬🇧

It was great to see so many people come together - so much fun and laughter all round.💙
