Congratulations to the two André Schroeder Research Prize winners in 2026 👏

Ettore Amerio and his team received the André Schroeder Research Prize in the preclinical category for their study entitled “Effects of smoking on macrophage polarization in peri-implantitis lesions”.
The prize for clinical research was awarded to Franz J. Strauss and his team for their study “Cost effectiveness of two short implants versus one short implant with a cantilever in the posterior region: 7.5-year follow-up of a randomised controlled trial”.

The André Schroeder Research Prize, one of the most prestigious awards in implant dentistry, is presented annually by the ITI for outstanding original research in implant dentistry, oral tissue regeneration and related fields.
