When he’s not checking measurements, you’ll find him on the road. Marcel is a dedicated road cyclist, which gives him a clear perspective on why quality counts. Every detail matters when you’re chasing smooth miles.⚡

Meet Andreas and Luisa 👋 two of the minds behind our carbon rims.

Andreas is our Engineering Composite Tooling Specialist. He’s the one making sure the molds and tools used to shape our carbon rims are dialed in to perfection. Every curve, every layer - he’s got an eye on it. 👁️

Luisa works as a Composite Production & Process Engineer. She’s focused on how those rims actually get made - refining processes, improving efficiency, and making sure production runs smoothly from start to finish.

Both are mountain bikers, which means they know exactly what riders expect from high-performance rims. They’re not just building for the trail, they’re riding it too. That real-world experience helps them push for better results every day. 💪

«The F 232 ONE 100 mm suspension fork from DT Swiss with its Lock-On/Off system was our savior on long asphalt climbs and rugged, rocky gravel sections. The tubeless-ready aluminum wheels from DT Swiss also carried us reliably across every terrain.»

Tatiana Myk and her friends from 8bar bikes spent 12 days on the Annapurna Circuit (Nepal): 401 km, 10,000 m of climbing, and one pass at 5,416 m. Their Ti equipped with XR 1700 SPLINE wheels faced heat (+30 °C), snow, ice, and -25°C, and kept rolling. 🧊
Because when the asphalt ends, the real adventure begins. 🔥

The perfect holiday treat for cyclists 🍪🚴
Here’s what you need:
- cookie dough of your choice
- powdered/icing sugar
- a DT Swiss ratchet (any ratchet will do, but we recommend using one from DT Swiss) ⚙️

Extra Tip: If you wash the grease off the ratchet before using it, the cookies will taste even better!
