What a great day yesterday at the open exploration workshop at the Basel market Halle with !
The event brought together some really interesting individuals and representatives from various sectors in the food industry from agriculture, gastronomy and retail, trying to create sustainable innovations, closing the gap for a circular economy and motivating a more ecologically aware culture.
In the workshop we learned how to identify the problems and some of the hurdles experienced by small entrepreneurs who are trying to develop their business in a sustainable way.
It was great to get to know some of the ideas, projects and innovations that are in development using byproducts from agriculture and food waste to transform into other uses.
The ultimate goal is to create a diverse, resilient and sustainable food economy. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
