Last week in Seville, the mylife Diabetes Care team had the pleasure of hosting an intimate dinner alongside our symposium speakers during the SED Congress. 🇪🇸

It was a valuable opportunity to continue the conversation beyond the stage with Helen Murphy, Roman Hovorka, and Pilar Beato – exchanging perspectives on how hormonal changes can shape diabetes management for women, and how innovation can better adapt to these evolving needs.

At the SED Congress, the mylife team hosted a dedicated lunch symposium:

“Women Change, Hormones Shift, CamAPS Adapts”

Sport, community, and connection ⚽

Earlier this month, children and families from across Europe came together in Poznań, Poland, for an inspiring football cup dedicated to young people living with type 1 diabetes.

Now in its 9th year, this unique tournament brings together teams from multiple countries including Sweden, Poland, Germany, the UK, and Bulgaria. This year, 17 children from Sweden joined alongside their families, highlighting the strong and growing community behind this initiative.

It's more than just football. From escape rooms to stadium tours and shared experiences, the event creates a space where children can build confidence, friendships, and lifelong memories with others who truly understand their journey.

Initiatives like this show the power of community. They remind us that living with diabetes should never limit connection, joy, or opportunity.

It was an inspiring week connecting with so many clinicians, researchers, partners, and members of the diabetes community who are all working toward the same goal: improving outcomes for people living with diabetes.

Together with leading experts including Prof. Roman Hovorka, Prof. Marco Marigliano, and Dr. Carmen Quíros, we explored how the Personal Glucose Target (PGT) acts as a key control lever in the algorithm – enabling personalised, adaptive insulin delivery across different patient populations.
