What if sacred places were never meant to be experienced in isolation?

In Colombia, Indigenous communities of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta describe a sacred system known as La Línea Negra — an invisible network connecting hundreds of ceremonial sites across the land.

Mountains, rivers, and sacred locations form part of a living structure that maintains balance between humanity and nature.
For the Kogi, Arhuaco, Wiwa, and Kankuamo peoples, these sites are not symbolic — they are active points of connection within a larger system often described as the “Heart of the World.”

Similar concepts exist across cultures, sometimes referred to as ley lines or energetic grids.
