Repairing all kinds of lesions with grafts from stem cells: the approach is spectacular and has already been successful.

Wouldn't repairing a damaged organ within the affected organism be the most perfect therapy ?

This is the promise of regenerative medicine. Its pioneering treatments consist of grafting repair cells into the damaged area. Once these cells are implanted in the targeted organ (or nearby), they do the work themselves, reconstituting healthy tissue. Retina, skin, pancreas, bones, teeth, muscles, brain - the list of organs that we hope to restore is long.

But what are these cells with such sought-after powers? Beyond cells, we have new "weapons" to rethink the future of therapies...

Il est important de noter que la multipotentialité largement explorée des ASC a une application directe dans l'ingénierie des os, du cartilage et du tissu.

L'objectif de notre conférence est de renforcer la compréhension sur les possibilités d’applications.

Même si, comme les salamandres, l'embryon humain peut recréer entièrement un bras coupé, cette capacité de régénération est mise en sommeil par la suite et le corps ne connaît plus qu'un procédé nettement plus sommaire, la cicatrisation…

Pourtant la demande de « réparation » est immense dans les pays industrialisés. 🧬There is increasing evidence to support the hypothesis that the HF cycle is associated with vascular remodeling. Follicular keratinocytes release vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) that supports perifollicular angiogenesis, resulting in increased follicle and hair size.

🧬The primary cellular component of adipose tissue is the adipocyte; however, a variety of other cell types are also found, collectively labeled as stromal vascular fraction (SVF).

🧬Specifically, SVF contains mature cells and, more importantly, stem cells that are also known as adipose tissue-derived stromal cells (ASC).
