What a beautiful way to start the day together. Thank you to everyone who joined — your presence and energy always make these mornings so special.

🤍 Appreciate what’s already here — this moment, your breath, your body, your mind.
🤍 Each new day brings a new path. New moments, new joys. Inhale the possibilities, exhale the need for perfection.

Morning Yoga on a Sunday. Can it get any better? Oooh, I don't think so 😏

Thanks so much yogis for coming today. We had a few new faces join with new energy -- and started our days together beautifully. Thanks so much to all of you, I am grateful.

Your mat — where the magic happens.

A new school year. New rhythms.
Everything asking a little more of our time, our energy to settle in — that’s why we kept it gentle today.

We started in child’s pose, tuning into the breath from new angles and perspectives.

We focused on flow rather than stillness and holds.

And in a longer yin section, we explored the emotional spaces — hips and heart.

-- Can certain poses bring up specific physical reactions? Absolutely. Emotions? Yes, that too.

You who know me know that I’m not the most esoteric yoga teacher — but this one is a given: it’s all connected. Body, mind, soul.

So grateful that some of you felt this connection tonight. 💞

And even more grateful that you opened up and shared it with me.

Thank you, dear yogis.

✨ It felt so good today…

…to be back in the studio -- thank you so much to all the yogis who came to the first class after the summer break.

We took it slower, starting lying down, connecting with the body through the breath. From there we flowed into a gentle spinal warm-up, moved onto all fours, and warmed up with a few sun salutations. Humble Warrior, Flying Warrior… we stood firmly grounded as tall, strong, healthy trees. We stretched shoulders, opened hips.

And finally, we rested in Savasana — with the sound of heavily pouring rain outside and fresh air carrying the smell of wet earth through the open door.

Such a soothing evening. Such a blast.

Thank you, dear yogis, for enabling me to guide you and experience something this peaceful and beautiful. 🙏✨

Back to the Mat: Community Yoga & Brunch -- Let’s get together for a warm welcome back after the holidays ☀️

We’ll start with a gentle 60-minute yoga flow to help you reconnect with your body, remember your strength, enjoy a good stretch, and feel energized for the day ahead.

Today was our last class before the summer break — and we nearly filled the whole room. Thank you, dear yogis, for showing up and practicing together. 🙏

😴 We’re on a break now. I’ll be back on August 20, with a few new things planned. Stay tuned. 😏

On Space 🌌

Me, the mats, props, the mirror… and also the boxing bag, the disco ball, the kitchen, the kids’ fitness corner — and a baby doll.
Not exactly the sleek yoga studio you see in fancy magazines.

But does yoga need that?
I don’t think so.

Your presence. Your focus.
Feel your body. Feel your breath.
(And for me, it’s also: feel the music 🙏)

And thanks to that, maybe, you forget what’s beyond your mat. Like it doesn’t matter at all.

Grateful for a safe space where we can meet.
Grateful for Viviane — its welcoming and generous owner.
Grateful that it’s close enough for a walk.
Grateful for the kitchen where I make tea before every class.
Grateful that you join me — and enjoy it all with me.

To my dear yogis

You know this feeling when you're so tired after a long day that all you want is to curl up in bed with a book? (Honestly, sometimes I’d love to do just that… but being the teacher means I don’t really have a choice 🙃)

But you show up. Every week. Some of you since our very first class in November.
Despite the chaos of the day, the tiredness, the unknown of what the class will bring — you come.
And I admire that deeply.

Tonight’s class was about creativity — and doing things a bit differently than we’re used to.
New sequences. Unfamiliar flows. Poses that challenged both body and mind -- it’s not easy to step into the unknown. It can bring up surprises, resistance, emotions.

So here’s to you, my brave, dedicated yogis.

Thank you for your trust.
Thank you for your courage.
Thank you for making it possible for me to do what I love.

And tonight… with that warm, summer-ish evening wrapping around us after the work was done — it all felt just perfect.

☘️ Spring Awakening: Yin for Your Spine Recap ☘️

Today was a beautiful mix of familiar faces and new ones, and I thank all of you who showed up to honor your body and spirit and made today's session so unique, and ours 🙏

Today was all about awakening our spines after the winter stillness.

Here’s a recap and a few elements you can carry with you in your practice:

🍃 Aroma: Lemon & Lavender – calming and uplifting
🫖 Ayurvedic Tea – a blend to harmonize and cheer up
🌬️ Breathing: From calm to energizing, warming us up gradually and preparing our spines gently for the poses to come
🧘‍♀️ Yin Flow: Moving the spine in its 6 degrees of freedom for full flexibility and release
🎵 Music: Relaxing 432 Hz frequencies with nature sounds to support body & mind connection
💭 Meditation: Visualizing a spring walk, inviting lightness and freedom into the body and mind
🪷 Relaxation: A calming Savasana to integrate the benefits of a free-moving spine and refreshed energy flow

I hope you left feeling more open and ready to enjoy the spring season ahead 🙏🌸
