FICS is pleased to announce the formal signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Alliance of Independent Recognized Members of Sport (AIMS). AIMS plays a critical role in the Olympic movement by providing a platform for its member federations to work toward IOC recognition.

FICS President Dr Martin Isaksson and Secretary-General Dr Brian Nook met with AIMS President Stephan Fox, and AIMS Vice President Panagiotis Theodoropoulos, at The World Games 2025 to officially establish this partnership through the MoU.

AIMS was established in 2009 to represent sports federations that were not yet recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). AIMS acts as a crucial organization within the global sports ecosystem, helping sports federations to work toward IOC recognition.

Through this agreement, both parties will work towards creating a structured framework for cooperation, aiming to enhance athlete health, well-being, and performance through shared knowledge, capacity building, innovation, and advocacy.

FICS continues its commitment to providing expert sports chiropractic care to athletes worldwide, promoting inclusivity and fairness within the sporting community. Our goal is to support all athletes in their pursuit of excellence and enable them to reach optimal performance naturally.

On the partnership, FICS President Dr Martin Isaksson commented, “This collaboration with AIMS represents a significant step for FICS; it embodies the Olympic spirit in practice. Together, we are furthering the advancement of athlete health, well-being, and equity on an international scale.”
