+++Krankheitsbild Arthrose+++
Die Arthrose ist eine chronisch-degenerative Gelenkserkrankung und gilt bis heute als nicht heilbar. Leider ist Arthrose eine der häufigsten Ursachen für Lahmheiten beim Pferd. Alle Gelenke können davon betroffen sein. Am Sprunggelenk wird die Arthrose als Spat, an der Wirbelsäule als Kissing Spines oder als Schale am Fessel-, Kron- und Hufbein bezeichnet. Sie kann durch Fehlstellungen, Verletzungen, zu starke oder falsche Belastung, Übergewicht, Nährstoffmangel, Gelenksentzündungen oder altersbedingt entstehen.

Osteoarthritis is a chronic degenerative joint disease and is still considered incurable. Unfortunately, osteoarthritis is one of the most common causes of lameness in horses. All joints can be affected. At the ankle, arthrosis is referred to as spavin, at the spine as kissing spines or as low ringbone at the fetlock, crown and coffin bone. It can be caused by malpositions, injuries, excessive or incorrect stress, obesity, lack of nutrients, joint inflammation or age-related.
