Ida Rolf - Mother of Fascia is an illuminating documentary that brings recognition to Dr. Ida Rolf, a pioneering figure whose work on fascia has only recently begun receiving the scientific validation it deserves. The film traces her remarkable journey through a lifetime of obstacles, showing how her relentless curiosity and resilience led to the development of Structural Integration.
Even for viewers unfamiliar with fascia, the documentary succeeds in making her discoveries accessible, while highlighting the courage it took for a woman in her era to challenge conventional medical thinking.
