Sommer, Teamspirit und ein Hauch von Abenteuer am Ammersee

Früh um 6:30 Uhr starteten wir von der Schweiz aus Richtung Andechs – das deftige Mittagessen im Klostergasthof war die kleine „Sünde“ des Tages. Danach hiess es: Schuhe schnüren und eine Stunde Fussmarsch zur Schiffstation. Gute Gespräche, Lachen, gute Laune – der perfekte Weg zum nächsten Highlight.
Auf dem Ammersee wartete dann unsere Schiffsrundfahrt. Egal ob Sonne oder Niesel – die Stimmung war im Flow. Vögtlin Schweiz & Vögtlin Deutschland gemeinsam unterwegs: kompakt, präzise, zuverlässig – eben wie unsere Produkte. 😉
Ein Sommeranlass, der viel zu schnell zu Ende ging.

d·flux can do it! Integrated !
Most flow meters require 10 to 40 x the pipe diameter straight length piping before the inlet. No obstructions or bends allowed. This is to avoid measurement errors due to flow profile distortions. The Vögtlin ·flux multi-parameter gas mass flow meters does not need this. Due to the integrated flow conditioner, you can even build two elbows in two different planes directly in front of the d·flux without significantly affecting the accuracy. This means that the up to 1400 ln/min air, 1“ multigas flow meter (H2 up to 2900 ln/min) can be built into compact spaces that cannot afford 40 x D

Portable Battery Powered Digital Mass Flow Meters for Gases

The red-y compact can be powered by one AA battery or USB power and can measure all kinds of gas flows from 0-5 mln/min to 450 ln/min (gas dependent).
Ideal for the verification of VA meters, other gas meters, gas consumption (totalizer integrated). Lots of settings accessible through the backlit .

The compact is modular and you can add: integrated needle valve (15 turn) for accurate gas control, alarm modules (3 hard contacts), analog and pulse output module or a permanent power module. You can program up to 3 gases in the flow meter and because it uses modern MEMS CMOS chips it have a long term stability.

Is ready for full accuracy in one second after you switch it on, accurate and repeatable, vertical of horizontal use, Swiss quality and affordable.

Electrolysers split water (H₂O) into hydrogen (H₂) and oxygen (O₂) using electrical energy. The main objective is to generate hydrogen and users would like to monitor and totalise the generated hydrogen with a gas mass flow meter, to, for instance, verify efficiency. Unfortunately, this hydrogen is humid and that significantly influences the accuracy of any flow meter.

A study by LEANCAT revealed that when the dew point of hydrogen exceeds -10 °C, thermal mass flow meters begin to show noticeable calibration errors.

👉 Our recommendation: Dry the hydrogen to at least -10 °C before flow measurement. Only then can you ensure reliable and repeatable data, critical for optimizing electrolyser performance.
