A huge milestone for international collaboration in homeopathic research and education
During the ECH Weekend Roundtable on 17–18 April, the European Committee for Homeopathy (ECH) and the Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education & Research (Deemed to be University), Sawangi (M) Wardha, India, formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
This agreement marks the beginning of a structured collaboration in homeopathic research and education, strengthening academic and professional links between Europe and India.
The signing ceremony will be honoured by the presence of Mr Mohan Lal, Counsellor of the Embassy of India in Warsaw, highlighting the importance of this international partnership.
This milestone reflects the dedicated efforts of Dr. Dora Pachova, ECH Education Coordinator, Director of CHE Edicta and Adjunct Faculty at DMIHER DU, together with Prof. Manish Deshmukh, PhD, Deputy Director of Research and Development at DMIHER DU/AIHER DU. ECH and AIHER-DU look forward to the opportunities this partnership will bring for students, educators, and researchers across both institutions.

ECH took part in the 3rd World Congress of Integrative Medicine 2025 in Rio de Janeiro, presenting a well-received poster on the role of homeopathy in sustainable health systems, aligned with the WHO Traditional Medicine Strategy 2025–2034.

Presented by Dr Dora Pachova, the contribution highlighted homeopathy’s relevance to planetary health, One Health, pediatrics and integrative care, while the congress itself marked a significant rise in the visibility of homeopathy within the global TCIH community.
The event offered valuable opportunities for international collaboration, advocacy and knowledge exchange, reinforcing the growing recognition of homeopathy as part of resilient, people-centred and sustainable healthcare systems worldwide.

Today marks the birthday of Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy and pioneer of the principle “like cures like.”

World Homeopathy Day is an opportunity to recognise the role homeopathy continues to play in healthcare globally, from its historical foundations to its ongoing use in modern medical practice.

At ECH, we are proud to support and represent medical doctors qualified in homeopathy across Europe, advancing research, strengthening standards, and promoting greater understanding of homeopathy in modern medicine.

271 Jahre Samuel Hahnemann – Begründer der Homöopathie

Am 10. April 2026 jährt sich der Geburtstag von Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann zum 271. Mal.

Hahnemann hat 1796 die Homöopathie begründet, das naturwissenschaftliche Denken weiterentwickelt – und den DZVhÄ 1829 gegründet.
Die Homöopathie ist heute in unser Gesundheitssystem integriert und wird weltweit auf wissenschaftlicher Basis von Ärztinnen und Ärzten angewendet – fundiert und patientenzentriert.
