Bedwetting can be frustrating for both children and parents, but it is nothing to be ashamed of. Bedwetting is a recognised medical condition from age five that can be readily treated.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of Baby Loss Awareness Week (9-15 October). Each year, Baby Loss Awareness Week is an opportunity to “raise awareness of pregnancy and baby loss, provide support to anyone affected by pregnancy loss and the death of a baby, work with health professionals and services to improve bereavement care, and reduce preventable deaths”.

In October, we are joined by Nicole Narracott and Vanessa Haye for Book Club, who will be sharing their own stories of baby loss and the resources that helped them on their journeys through grief throughout the month. Make sure you check out our Instagram feed for more.

At , we’re committed to advocating for everyone’s right to build a family. That’s why we’ve launched our inclusive and comprehensive family building benefits package.

The package recognises the complexities of building a family and aims to remove financial barriers associated with fertility treatment and family building options, by providing financial support and a global minimum standard of 26-weeks of paid parental leave. We’ll offer support for fertility treatments, surrogacy programmes, adoption, egg freezing, counselling and related services, as well as paid leave for fertility treatment, adoption procedures, and in the event of pregnancy loss.

This week, we’re attending ESHRE - European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology 2022 – an opportunity for the brightest minds in reproductive and maternal health to share knowledge and insights. Let’s not forget the knowledge and insights of the other experts: Those going through their own – often complex – journey to parenthood. Addressing challenges in reproductive medicine starts by listening and learning from the experiences of people around the world who wish to build families.

This month, along with many countries around the world, we are celebrating Pride. Throughout June we are speaking to different members of the trying to conceive (TTC) LGBTQ+ community about their family building journeys for Book Club.

At Ferring, we believe in everyone’s right to a family, regardless of who they are, where they live, or who they love. Through our Commitment, we are committed to helping people building families of every shape and size, and stand with everyone who has experienced fertility issues, baby loss and complications during pregnancy and birth, and commit to sharing their stories and amplifying their voices.

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week, which runs until 15 May, with a theme of ‘Loneliness’.

For many, their family building journey can often feel isolating and lonely. But you are not alone, there is a community of people out there to help and support you.

Through our Commitment, we are committed to helping people building families of every shape and size.

We stand with everyone who has experienced fertility issues, baby loss and complications during pregnancy and birth, and are committed to sharing their stories and amplifying their voices. Today we celebrate International Day of Midwives by recognising midwives around the world and the crucial role they play in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals to prevent maternal, newborn deaths and stillbirths.

We are proud to support the work that midwives do to help bring new life into the world. In a recent Commitment webinar discussing safe birth and postpartum haemorrhage (PPH), trained midwife Jackie Ramasodi stated greater efforts need to be made to prevent maternal deaths because no woman should die giving life.

At Ferring, we're committed to reducing maternal mortality, and we invest in research to prevent PPH, excessive bleeding after childbirth. We believe that every woman should have access to quality care and necessary treatment during pregnancy and childbirth, no matter where she lives.

Canadian Infertility Awareness Week (CIAW) 2022 runs from 24 to 30 April. This year’s theme is ‘Find Your Joy’, encouraging you to reflect on your personal family building journey and share the joy that you discovered along the way, in whatever form it came to you in – whether that was finding others that shared the same struggles, a successful egg or s***m retrieval, or holding your child in your arms for the first time.

One in six couples in Canada and globally, experience fertility issues. Launched in 2007, CIAW was founded to help raise awareness and inspire hope among the trying to conceive community and anyone facing fertility challenges on their family building journey.

Ferring Canada is the presenting sponsor for , and in support of CIAW, is dropping off a complimentary copy of ‘Inconceivable’ by Alex Johnston to fertility clinics across Canada. Proceeds from the book go to Fertility Matters Canada, a charitable organisation and the driving force behind CIAW, providing support, awareness, information and education on fertility, as well as advocating for equal access to fertility treatments.
