Vienna 2026 Joint Congress: what Happens Now? From Abstracts to Programme

Thank you once again for the outstanding response to the Joint Congress of Pediatric Surgery, Vienna 2026.

🔍 All submitted abstracts are currently undergoing a blind review process, involving more than 240 expert reviewers.

📌 Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent on February 11, 2026.

In parallel, the Scientific Committee is working to build a high-quality, balanced and truly unique scientific programme, reflecting the diversity and excellence of our global pediatric surgical community.

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Professor Jiří Šnajdauf, a distinguished pediatric surgeon, physician, teacher, and mentor who made a lasting contribution to Czech and European pediatric surgery.

We express our heartfelt solidarity with our Czech colleagues and extend our deepest condolences.

Professor Šnajdauf will be remembered with great respect and gratitude, and his legacy will endure.
