he grew up in a small Austrian village close to the Alps in Vorarlberg. There was always some local specialty waiting on the stove, always made with lots of love, and fresh seasonal ingredients from the family garden. Connie's passion for good food paired with her interest in health, guided her education choices. She trained as a chef as part of her high school studies and then went on to study nutrition at the University of Vienna, where she graduated with a Masters degree. She applied her expertise for almost 10 years in the global food industry, working most of that time for Nestle in the USA and Europe. There, she worked as a Nutritionist in the field of research and development, helping Innovation and Culinary teams develop tasty and nutritious foods. Connie is the mother of two young fantastic boys, Jack and Vince. Feeding and cooking for her two energetic, hungry fellas brought a very real and personal dimension to her nutrition experience. Additionally, seeing her friends, now also mums and dads, struggle to offer tasty and healthy foods that kids love, helped Connie realize that people need help!
