Easter reminds us that food is so much more than calories — it’s comfort, joy, tradition, and connection ❤️🍫

Menopause is not the time for strict, punishing, “all or nothing” diets. Your body is going through profound change, and it deserves nourishment, kindness, and care.

This season, I want to remind every woman that there is space for balance. Yes to quality nutrition. Yes to supporting your energy, hormones, bones, and mood. And yes — absolutely yes — to enjoying the chocolate too.

Midlife can feel confusing, emotional, and at times… a little lonely. But one thing became so clear in our first workshop: we have so much in common.

Feeling deeply grateful today ❤️.

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful women who joined us for the first of our two menopause workshops today.

Your openness, curiosity, honesty, and willingness to share made the space truly special. Conversations like these remind me how powerful it is when women come together to learn, reflect, and support one another through this transition.

I could not have done this without the incredible collaboration of Julie Blume from .ch , who nourished us with beautiful, delicious and thoughtfully prepared food that made the whole experience feel even more welcoming and grounding.

And a very special thank you to .med.tinabernardi – FMH Gynecology and Obstetrics, whose expertise helped us sort through many of the myths and misconceptions around midlife and menopause with clarity and compassion.

And I’m also deeply grateful to Ola from .ch , my amazing social media collaborator, who helps ensure that this message reaches women in a thoughtful and beautiful way.

Our second workshop will take place on 12 April, and we will dive deeper into two topics that generate so many questions: hormones and nutrition.

Together we’ll explore:

🌱 the role of hormones and HRT
🌱 how nutrition can support wellbeing in midlife
🌱 foundational nutrition skills for long-term health
🌱 navigating eating behaviours with compassion and clarity

Dr. Tina Bernardi will also guide us through the essentials of hormones and HRT, helping us better understand the options and the science behind them.

And Julie will be back as well - preparing another beautiful, nourishing brunch to share together.

This Sunday we’ll gather for the first of our two menopause workshops — and one of the things I’m most excited about (besides the conversations and learning) is the beautiful brunch we’ll share together.

Julie Blume from .ch is preparing a delicious, nourishing spread designed to support midlife wellbeing — food that fuels the body, invites us to slow down, and creates space for connection around the table.

In this first workshop we’ll be exploring some of the foundations that can make a real difference during this phase of life:

🌷 how exercise needs to evolve in midlife
🌷 mental health and resilience
🌷 sleep and stress-management strategies
🌷 and simple, practical tools you can start using immediately

There will be plenty of hands-on opportunities to move, reflect, and learn — in a small, supportive group setting.

For a long time now, I’ve felt a growing pull toward supporting women in midlife.

Again and again I see how confusing this phase can feel — your body changes, what used to work suddenly doesn’t, and there is so much noise, advice, and “solutions” being sold to us.

Together with the wonderful Julie Blume from .ch, I’ve created two small, in-person menopause workshops here in Horgen this spring — warm, practical, evidence-based spaces to understand what’s happening in your body and explore realistic ways to feel stronger and more at ease.

These workshops are designed especially with women in midlife in mind — but they are truly relevant from the mid-30s onward. Hormonal and nervous-system shifts often begin years before menopause itself, so this is just as much about preparation and understanding as it is about support during the transition.

✨ A very special part of the experience:
We’re joined by menopause specialist .med.tinabernardi, who will guide us through hormones in midlife — what changes, which tests actually make sense in this phase, and which ones may simply be benefiting from our insecurities. Together we’ll separate fiction from science so you can navigate decisions with clarity and confidence.

In both menopause workshops, we’re creating space not only for learning and reflection — but also for being cared for.

Participants will enjoy a delicious, nutrient-rich brunch and snacks, thoughtfully curated by Julie Blume from .ch. Food that truly supports midlife health, while also inviting connection and conversation around the table.
