Sustainability is the base for the development of new designs, products and the value chains behind it. fin is interested in and cares where the raw materials come from, what production processes are used and who the people behind them are. The transparency of “Made in” is not enough for fin. fin relies and focuses on traceable, socially and ecologically responsible value chains. fin projects and products tell stories in which the people and their craftsmanship play a central role. Traditional craftsmanship combined with timeless design. The people behind fin design and produce their own products however they also want to offer and enable other brands to benefit from their value chain. As such, they act as consultants for companies to create concepts and designs and implement projects with sustainable supply chains.

This Limited-Edition key holder is a cooperation between Swiss brand fin projects and Munich based shop owner and stylist Nora Khereddine.
Both are deeply connected to craft, timeless aesthetics and the aim to create objects that tell a story.
Made from vegetable tanned and traceable leather and produced in Florence, the key holder is a functional piece for every day. It prevents the keys from scratching whatever you carry in your handbag. The length of the strap is adjustable and the key holder can be worn crossbody or around the neck.

Leather is a by-product of the dairy- and meat industry. Is an ethical and sustainable industry even possible? And how should it look like? We think the only way to consume milk- and meat products is by supporting local and organic farming with no separation between the mother cows and their calf. This is the origin of the raw material we use for our bags and accessorizes. But still in the best practice case the contradiction and the question if it really makes sense to use animals for nutrition remains.

Wir haben Lust auf einen lauten und begegnungsreichen Vorweihnachtsmonat mit Euch.

Es freut uns sehr anzukündigen, dass wir vom 25.11. bis 23.12. das Designkollektiv und das Künstlerinnenkollektiv bei uns zu Gast haben. Wir feiern die Kooperation zwischen dem Textil Edition Studio und und die wunderbaren Schaufenster von der Künstlerin .
Unser Laden an der Ankerstrasse 25 wird zum Begegnungsraum für alle, die einzigartige und handgefertigte Produkte schätzen, gerne auf einen Schwatz bei uns vorbei kommen, Austausch suchen und fernab vom Vorweihnachtsstress mit uns zusammen feiern möchten.
