Why did I become a plastic surgeon? 👩🏼‍⚕️

As a little girl, I was in the hospital for a small injury that needed stitches. A plastic surgeon was specifically called in to sew the wound to minimize scarring. I was so excited and impressed that she came just to close my stitch. That early encounter sparked my interest in plastic surgery, and my love for the profession has grown ever since.
