Today is World Down Syndrome Day ☀️

At the Light for Sight Foundation, we stand together with the global community to celebrate the uniqueness, strength, and beauty of individuals with Down Syndrome.

Children and teens with Down Syndrome are at a much higher risk of developing Keratoconus, a progressive eye condition that can lead to severe vision loss if not detected early. This is why early screening, awareness, and access to care are so important.

We’re committed to ensuring that every child, no matter their genetic makeup or background, receives the eye care they need to live a full, independent, and bright life.

Let’s raise awareness, foster inclusion, and continue to advocate for better health for all. 🌞

One child at a time.
One life at a time.
One bright future at a time.
