And just like that… >>venture>> 2026 is officially underway! 🚀

What an incredible evening we had last Tuesday at our Zurich Kickoff — from inspiring conversations to fresh ideas and new connections, this event reminded us why we do what we do.

A big shoutout to ETH Zürich and Frank Floessel for co-hosting this event with us, and to our keynote speaker, Greta Preatoni, 2025 Grand Prize winner, for sharing her journey with MYNERVA AG and inspiring everyone in the room. 🙌

None of this would have happened without the incredible people who made this event possible: jurors, mentors, alumni, caterers, technicians, helpers, and everyone who contributed to making the evening such a success. A special thank you to Innosuisse for their ongoing support.

And of course, thank you to everyone who attended! Your energy set the tone for what’s sure to be an extraordinary year!

One of our big changes this year is that we’ve refined our verticals to better reflect the sectors driving Swiss innovation today. Here's what's new 👇

Introducing the revised competition verticals:
🔓 Business & Finance
🛒 Consumer Solutions
🔧 Industrials & Engineering
🏥 Medtech & Healthcare
🧬 Pharma & Biotech
🌍 Social & Environmental Impact

Each vertical will now recognize:
🥇 1 Winner – CHF 50,000
🥈 And 2 Finalists – CHF 10,000 each

What stays the same:
🏆 The Grand Prize Winner takes home an extra CHF 100,000
🏅 The Audience Award returns, with CHF 10,000 for the startup that receives the most audience votes

Yesterday in Changins, we had the pleasure of welcoming some of our esteemed mentors and jurors of the Romandie region for a unique evening! Our program began with an exclusive guided tour of , Switzerland’s federal center of excellence for agricultural research. 🌾🔬

From discovering their fascinating experiments with fungi spores in the stratosphere to learning how AI predicts growth, and even how drones provide targeted plant protection, the visit offered an eye-opening glimpse into cutting-edge agricultural science.

🍻 We then enjoyed an apéro together, the perfect setting to express our gratitude to our mentors and jurors for their unwavering support and dedication.
