For those who want to receive some affordable herbal treatment, supervised by experienced Herbalists, Heartwood Profesional Herbal Medicine course runs an Online Training Clinic. As this is a Training Clinic, consultations are at a reduced cost. The consultations are taken by Heartwood students studying on the Professional Course. All supervising herbal practitioners at the Heartwood online clinic are members of the National Institute of Herbal Medicine and have between 20-40 years experience working with patients.
The consultation part of your appointment takes up to an hour and a half, and you will be asked to return to the clinic session again – approximately 90 minutes after the end of your appointment – for the clinical student and the supervising herbalist to explain your treatment plan, and to organise how you will receive your herbal medicines.
The Heartwood Online Clinics run on Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Cost of The initial consultation: £30 and Follow up appointments: £15. The cost of medicines is usually between £5 and £25 per week, with an average of about £12 per week (excluding postage and packing).
