Jim will introduce a 4-day seminar taking place on May 29th-June 1st, which can be attended in London or online (see below).
We live in entanglement. From conception onwards we become entangled with the world, its people and objects in innumerable ways. In one way it can be an experience of great intimacy and joy, in another of great difficulties, challenges and complications. The body is an organism of movement, a dynamic structure driven into the world by desire, curiosity, interest or ambition, as well as by revulsion, fear or contempt, among many possibilities. Our biological, social and trauma histories are also entangled and complexly layered within us as they shape us. Entanglement is part of how we are embodied, and how we enact ourselves as we search for health, satisfaction, relationship, work, competence, or even transcendence. Jim will be teaching various therapeutic approaches to clarify entanglements and support dis-entangling and re-forming.

Tutor:
Dr. Jim Feil has over 45 years’ experience in energetic and somatic therapeutic practices and is a highly respected figure in the field. In 1970, he started his studies with Dr. Randolph Stone, the founder of Polarity Therapy, and is one of the few contemporary practitioners who is a direct student of Dr. Stone. He began studying Formative Psychology with Stanley Keleman in 1981 and went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in California in 1986. He has taught Craniosacral Biodynamics and Pre- and Perinatal Therapy among other methodologies. He teaches internationally and specializes in using a range of verbal and body-oriented techniques to help resolve biological, somatic and psychological issues.

In this interview with Phil Young, Karen, a bodywork, energy practitioner and college lecturer in humanities will introduce her theory of the "trauma mandala" - a dynamic energy formation that contains and perpetuates trauma in individuals and collectively. Drawing from personal experiences with medical and family trauma, she will discuss how trauma creates self-sustaining patterns that can trap people in cycles of dysfunction.

Karen believes that understanding trauma as an energetic formation can help both individuals and practitioners better address healing, particularly in our currently chaotic world where trauma is increasingly prevalent due to factors like social media and constant information exposure.

Karen's healing approach embraces five-pointed star ⭐️ treatment to connect to the Higher Self as a way to counter these trauma patterns.
