Your body is always communicating with you.

Not when something is already wrong —
but much earlier.

In Ayurveda, imbalance begins quietly in the energetic body long before it turns into physical symptoms. Yet many of us have learned to override these early signals and simply keep going.

Until the body asks a little louder.
You might notice signs like:
• low energy or constant heaviness
• bloating or sluggish digestion
• brain fog or lack of motivation
• strong sugar cravings
• seasonal allergies or lowered immunity
• a feeling of being stuck — physically or emotionally

These are not random inconveniences.
They are your body asking for support.
For space.
For recalibration.
This is exactly why I created my Guided Ayurvedic Cleanse.

A gentle but powerful process designed to:
• release accumulated toxins
• strengthen your digestive fire
• restore clarity, energy, and lightness in body and mind

Not through restriction or extremes —
but through deeply nourishing Ayurvedic practices that support your body’s natural intelligence.
If you’ve been feeling that quiet nudge that it’s time for a reset, this may be the moment to listen.

Once a seeker, always a seeker.

Since I can remember, I’ve been drawn to the mystical,
to what lives beyond what the eyes can see.

This connection to the divine nourishes me deeply.
And with every year of practice,
it feels stronger. Closer. More intimate.

It nourishes me.
It steadies me.
It carries me through life’s challenges
and brings me back home to myself.

Travelling is exiting, but also highly Vāta triggering because we are exposed to air and either en masse.

I was exhausted today after travelling from Jamnagar in Gujarat to Mumbai waking up at 4AM to catch a bus, a flight, an other cab drive and overwhelmed by the emotions to saying goodbye to such a lovely group of Āyurveda practitioners.

So the most important thing arriving in Mumbai was receiving a nice Abhayanga massage and a swedana treatment (a steambath) to get rid of Vāta and hopefully some accumulations from eating to many chapatis and pharatas🤭.

Next in order was a Masala Chai with someting sweet. Why: The masala contains warming spices like ginger that help kindle the digestive fire (deepana) which can be upset after eating many new and heavy things and burns toxins (āma). The sweet food or taste calms Vāta and is grounding. While travelling I always bring my Triphala herbs, to help debloat and further balance my digestion. In short that’s how practice Āyurveda daily even when travelling.

What are your tricks while travelling? Pls share in the comments.

Also my books for consultations reopen for March also consinder being part of my annual Spring cleanse let‘s reset and rejuvenate this precious body and soul!

On my journey, I was introduced to the Bala Hanuman Temple in Jamnagar. Since 1964, the community has been chanting 24 hours a day: “Shri Ram, Jai Ram, Jai Jai Ram.” The place is bathed in mantra and shakti — absolutely exhilarating to me.

This morning, I felt called to witness this energy again. We arrived in the dark. At first, there were only tablas and two people chanting. Slowly, as the temple began to fill, the energy shifted. The chanting grew more intense, building steadily and finishing in a powerful crescendo. A tremendous force.

People here may not have much in material wealth, but their connection to the divine — and the way it is felt in the most mundane moments — is profound.

The morning darshan and puja left me reflecting on how seamlessly spirituality and daily life flow together here.

And I was greeted by this beautiful lady, a devoted follower of Hanuman. Even though I cannot speak her language, I understood that she has been coming to this temple since she was a child.

But sometimes the only language that is needed, is the la guage of the heart.

Shri Ram, Jai Ram

A little inside view into my journey deepening more into the knowledge of Food as Medicine, studying with my Alma Mater .ayurveda.akademie at Punes Tilak Ayurveda Mahavidyala College.
I gained new insights, and refined my knowledge on how food can help to support common health issues like: diabetes mellitus, obesiety, mental health & sleep problems, womens and child health.

The faculty at Tilak was sharing their knowledge and so many healing recipes with us with such passion and heart. My heart is full and I am grateful to have been able to deepen my knowledge at the source of Ayurveda.

Truly food is medicine, and it is so easy to incorporate
I can‘t wait to add the new insights to my practice and share with my clients.

Next stop the faculty of Ayurveda in Jamnagar, where we will look at topics like long covid. TBC

Another day of studying Ayurveda here in India, at its very source.
It’s deeply moving to witness how alive this tradition truly is — so richly layered in wisdom, and profoundly supportive in addressing even the most complex conditions.

Wow — it has been two intense days.
I’ve travelled to India to deepen my studies in Ayurveda: food as medicine.

I’ve already had the opportunity to learn from different Ayurvedic doctors, each specialised in specific health fields, about how to treat certain disorders and manage health conditions through the right preparation methods and cooking techniques.

I feel deeply humbled to learn these traditional Ayurvedic recipes and add them to my repertoire of healing recipes— and to explore how they can be thoughtfully adapted to European ingredients while staying true to their wisdom and its origin.

There are moments when the body asks for something different.

Not more discipline.
Not another strict plan.
But a pause… a reset… a return to a more wholesom rhythm.

Many women come to Ayurveda when they feel that need: when energy feels lower than usual, digestion becomes sensitive, cravings increase, or there is simply a quiet feeling of being out of sync with themselves.

Very often, this is not a sign that something is wrong.
It is a sign that the body is asking for support.

This is exactly why I created my Guided Ayurvedic Cleanse, happening during March 18-27, 2026

It is designed to help you gently release accumulation while strengthening digestion, calming the nervous system, and creating daily rituals that feel nourishing rather than restrictive.

This cleanse is realistic, supportive, and rooted in traditional Ayurvedic wisdom — adapted for modern life and busy schedules.

If you’ve been feeling the quiet sense that your body would benefit from a reset, I would love to guide you through this process.

Lately, I’ve been pondering…
Where is home? Where do I truly belong?

Society teaches us to look for home in careers, relationships, family, friendships, places… all external achievements. And yes, we can feel joy and belonging there.

But being truly home within is different.

It’s an anchoring in your soul — a presence we cultivate through daily rituals, meditation, and subtle self-reflection.

These are constant practice of coming home which need attention, time, and yes self-discipline (the actually meaning of yoga).

If you’ve felt a little lost or unsettled these past weeks as well, maybe some of my reflections may resonate with you.

I think as women in peri-menopause and menopause, we often feel overwhelmed by all the information about what we “should” be doing.

You should…
eat more protein
eat a protein-rich breakfast
add creatine
lift weights
eat ketogenic
start HRT (because heart health!)

The list goes on.
And honestly—yes, I hear it all. I partly understand the why behind these recommendations.
What modern science often lacks, though, is a truly holistic vision.

We are not only made of the gross body. The body is also home to the soul.

After about a year of confusion (while still sticking to my Ayurvedic food principles), things are slowly becoming clearer for me.

I still eat my warm porridge—but I’ve adjusted the amount of toasted or soaked nuts I add.
I rotate my grains (and sometimes it’s not grains at all, but a veggie porridge—my clients know 🥕😉).

I have a protein shake here and there, but not every day (most contain pea protein, which isn’t ideal for Pitta types or sensitive Vata digestion).

I focus on carbs at lunch, my biggest meal of the day.
I enjoy something sweet around lunch or shortly after.
I try to avoid carbs in the evening when I can.

And most importantly:
I try not to go insane from the constant overload of rules about what an “aging woman” should eat.

Instead, I trust my intuition.
I observe my digestion.
That is the ultimate communication tool—the barometer that tells you how you’re really doing.
A key element in Ayurveda.

PS: The porridge above is poha (rice flakes) with coconut and caramelized pineapple.
A match made in heaven ✨
