HINOTORI AN offers zen practice, zen & life guidance, dharma teaching, & qigong workshops Organisational affairs and social media are managed by volunteers.

Zendō is located within Hinotori An (Firebird Hermitage), simple space fully dedicated to the practice of the Way. It is not a typical zen centre as it combines the seclusion of a hermitage and the austerity of a traditional zen monastery. Teacher lives withdrawn and follows principles of “every-moment-zen” and “no-idle talk”, why Hinotori An may not be suitable for those looking for casual practi

ce, relaxation or socialisation. Questions relating to practice and teaching are forwarded to sensei so she can address it personally.
