Your hands hold more power than you might realize.

In the practice of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation, we often use mudras - specific hand positions that stimulate energy flow through the body’s meridians.

Each mudra carries its own vibration and purpose, helping to balance emotions, sharpen focus, and shift your state of mind in the moment.

Even without knowing their names, bringing awareness to your hands and practicing a mudra can create an immediate positive effect - calming your nervous system and energizing your brain.

Take some minutes for yourself and experiment:

Right now, place your hands together, close your eyes, and breathe.

This mudra is called Pranam Mudra, or Prayer Mudra. It balances and neutralizes the hemispheres of the brain, helping us focus on what truly matters in life.

I let myself arrive, transitioning from dreaminess into full presence.

Starting the day with meditation, breath, and movement is a powerful way to shift how the whole day unfolds.
It’s a step-by-step process toward a blissful state of being.

You don’t need to retreat from your life — Kundalini Yoga is the Yoga of the Householders.
It’s deeply breath-oriented, making it accessible even for beginners to find a “beneficial breath.”
Breath is the key to awareness. Once we start breathing properly, everything changes.

Life can get busy: lists, deadlines, conversations, all pulling at you at the same time.

Sometimes the best thing you can do is pause… even for a minute.

In Kundalini Yoga, a few deep breaths and gentle movements can create space in the mind.

When the mind feels lighter, everything else starts to soften too.

You can create this feeling anywhere: just a few intentional breaths.

Summer Holidays – Part Two

Beloved Costa Brava, Home for many years. Birthplace of our Son. Beloved friends.

Thank you, summer, for these precious family days – a pink moon on the beach, a house where everyone (and friends!) could be together, yet still find quiet moments alone.

No drama, no rush, phones off (as much as possible) – just time to breathe, to read, share brother–sister moments, play, make music, swim, practice, eat… and repeat.

In two days we’re already leaving, and I’m looking forward to seeing you on Monday for class.

Holidays – Part One

Finally followed Selmas invitation to visit her new life and beautiful family in Sweden.

Catching up with after a loooong time at in Eslöv was just the cherry on top of the cake.

Of course, we had to recreate the picture we took back in 2017 in the Himalayas.

My morning practice isn’t always structured.
Some days it’s 11 minutes of breath.
Some days it’s stillness, or mantra.

But what stays the same is how I start the day.

I choose to be present before I choose pressure.
I choose inner energy before outside energy.

This is why a morning practice matters.
It keeps me aligned.

And yes, 11 minutes can be enough.

Yoga lässt mich nicht immer besser fühlen. Aber es zeigt mir immer, wo ich gerade stehe.

An manchen Tagen verlasse ich die Matte offener. An anderen Tagen verletzlicher.

Und genau darum geht es.

Die Praxis löscht nichts aus.
Sie bringt es ans Licht.

Yoga ist keine schnelle Lösung.
Es ist ein Raum, um klar zu sehen – sanft, ehrlich und ohne Urteil.

Von dort aus kann etwas Echtes beginnen.

I used to think the power of the practice was in the movement, the breathwork, the sweat, the sound.

And it is.

But over time, it was the silence that began to hold me.

The moment after the mantra fades.
The pause between the inhale and the exhale.
The stillness when the practice is over, and I just sit… awake.

In that space, something soft rises.
Something honest.
Something that doesn’t need to be explained.

That’s where I meet something bigger than just myself.

And that’s why silence has become the most transformative part of it all.

The idea that rest must be earned is one of the deepest programs we carry.

But what if rest isn’t a prize at the end of effort?
What if it’s the foundation for clarity, calm, and connection?

You don’t need to collapse to deserve pause.
You don’t need to reach the edge to be allowed to soften.

Rest isn’t laziness.
It’s nourishment.

Let this be your reminder:
You are allowed to rest, before, during, and after.
You are allowed to rest… just because you’re human.
