Unlike a job, one’s own business is very close to heart.

With this, not only is fulfillment higher, but also something else:

Your nervous system signals „close relationship“, yes, exactly, with your business, and this is where something strange happens:

Your defense mechanism kicks in.

During your childhood you might have learned that close relationships are a dangerous thing to be in.

As a result, you may have a tendency to subconsciously create distance - e.g. with your business or even your clients.

If this pattern is not taken care of, anything - including a business - that is close to heart, will probably falter at some point.

I used to be a sales person. I'm no longer.

Why?

It's simple.

As a sales person you focus on selling something. When you focus on selling something, there is no room for truly connecting with your client. Why? Because a connection can only flourish when it's not crushed by what you or the other person want.

A true connection can be created when you open the space for another human so they can truly be who they are. This is where trust emerges and where sales activities become so much more about creating relationships rather than filling your bank account.

Not everybody is ready for this. It can be a real stretch. Just a couple of days ago I received a call from a beautiful lady who said: I'm ready to send youthe money and sign the contract. I'd like to start my coaching with you only in September, though.

A couple of years ago I would have happily sent her the contract and received the money.

This time I said: I love your enthusiasm and all you did to make this happen. You're really touching me here.

I believe you should only sign and pay when you're also ready to go. So much can happen until September, so why commit already now? We both might have entirely different lives by then!

You know, this created a sense of expansion, trust, relaxation and greatness that is truly a great basis for a long and flourishing relationship.

After all, it's still humans who interact with each other. Who we are and how we treat each other so much shapes the experience.

But we forgot. We're driven by financial goals and pressure. Plus, those who use social media to promote their services, often forget that it's ALL about relationships and feeling good with each other.

Social media and the increasing speed of life have degraded our relationships to mere means. It's like we're extracting money, time and attention from each other, but not nurturing each other.

Durch die sozialen Medien haben wir den menschlichen Kontakt verloren.

Wie wäre es, wenn wir einfach wieder mit einander reden und einander schöne Briefe schreiben?

Wenn wir uns wirklich Zeit nehmen für einander, statt einader zu behandeln wie möglichst effizient abzuhandelnde Tasks auf Tasklisten?

Persönlichkeitsentwicklung und Coaching ist oft schädlich.

Warum?

Wenn wir uns zu sehr auf Blockaden und Hindernisse konzentrieren, geht verloren, dass wir unser Leben innert 30 Sekunden auf totale Power und Überzeugung ausrichten können.

Es dauert nicht länger.

Klar: Wir brauchen einen sanften und liebevollen Zugang mit unseren verletzten Teilen.

Aber nicht nur!

Welchen Gedanken kannst Du jetzt denken, der dich in deine Kraft bringt?

Coaches glauben oft, dass sie "viele" Menschen erreichen müssen.

Not true. Wirklich.

Die Wahrheit ist: Die einzige Person, die wirklich zählt, ist die NÄCHSTE.

Die nächste Konversation. Der nächste Kontakt.

Denn sieh mal: Jeder Kontakt ist eine Gelegenheit, das zu tun, was Du wirklich willst. Also Coaching (sofern die Menschen das möchten). Oder anders gesagt. Sei Du! Sei einfach du selbst.

Wie Du bist, wer Du bist - das wird dir Kunden bringen. Und nicht irgendwelche komplexen Strategien.

"Es darf leicht sein, Kunden zu gewinnen"

Das sagen viele Business-Coaches.

Oft sind aber ihre Akquisitions-Strategien alles andere als leicht.

Ich habe mehrere Zehntausend Franken ausgegeben, um Strategien zu lernen, die wirklich komplett unentspannt waren.

Gleichzeitig haben meine Coaches mir gesagt, dass es sich leicht anfühlen sollte.

Merkst Du etwas?

Das ist der direkte Weg in eine alte Falle. Hier sind ein paar der Glaubenssätze, die ich so reaktiviert habe:

- ich bin einfach noch nicht gut genug.
- ich muss härter arbeiten
- irgend etwas stimmt mit mir nicht, sonst hätte ich schon längstens Kunden
- ich mache etwas falsch

Für mich war es die totale Befreiung, meine Kunden in der Herzverbindung und auf einem ganz persönlichen Weg anzusprechen. Und so arbeite ich auch noch heute.

Damit ist mein Leben jetzt gerade so, wie ich es mir immer gewünscht habe.

- ich coache VIEL mehr als je zuvor
- ich treffe inspirierende Menschen
- ich bin so entspannt, wie ich es noch nie war
- ich habe Zeit für Sport, Musik, Salsa und Bachata

und ps:
ich konnte meine Ernährung so verändern, dass ich innert zwei Monaten 6kg Fett verloren habe. Mein biologisches Alter ist jetzt 25 Jahre.
